Background: Channel 3 was the first organized home to the local adults in my area. Naturally, the differences in relative age and maturity, often placed us at odds with many of the people on this channel, and this was a favorite channel for guys like Steve and Jimmy to vent their frustrations in the form of jamming and agitation. The people on this channel organized their own social club, the Freedom Valley CB club, which lasted into the 1980's, even after the daily radio activity on Channel 3 went the way of the dinosaur.
